Welcome to Saint Andrew’s. We observe faithful worship that is both liturgical and Eucharist-centered. We are a people who seek to live into our baptismal covenant and we believe God’s compassion extends to all people. Our ministries reflect our commitment to children and youth, outreach, Christian formation for all ages, fellowship, and ecumenical collaboration. As the only Episcopal Church in Blount County, Saint Andrew’s has grown from twenty congregants at its first meeting in 1923 to over six hundred today. 

We understand our faith most clearly as a way of life and a matter of practice, rather than of doctrine. Our Anglican theology honors Scripture, church tradition, and the richness and complexity of meaning that each person brings to the Church. What holds us together is the Holy Spirit, whom we seek through common worship guided by the Book of Common Prayer.
